Club Yachting’s Day Skipper Plus course is designed for those clients who have already gained experienced to the level of the RYA’s Day Skipper Practical Sail course in Tidal waters, and do not yet feel ready to take the RYA’s Coastal Skipper Practical course (or just wish to consolidate the knowledge learnt when they did their Day Skipper).
This is very much a hands-on course - introducing new skills which you will develop further if you go on to take the Coastal Skipper course. It is also an ideal course for those clients who already have their Day Skipper Practical Sail in Non-Tidal waters (like Greece or Turkey) as there will be time during the course to teach the tidal skills required for Day Skipper Practical.
You will be spending the complete week on board the yacht visiting the beautiful areas of the Canaries away from the beaten track.
10 days, 200 miles, 8 night hours on board a sailing yacht.
Boat handling to the standard of the Day Skipper Practical sail cruising course. It is recommended that you attend the Day Skipper shorebased and also the Day Skipper Practical course before taking this course.
