Clipper Ventures Plc, organisers of the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race is looking for a total of 6 individuals holding
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore or
RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Certificates of Competence. Candidates need to meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Yachtmaster Offshore or Yachtmaster Ocean certificate of competence
- Hold a current B1/B2 visa for the United States of America
- Be available for immediate travel to the USA
- Be available for at least the next 3 to 4 weeks
These positions are unpaid but provide the individuals with the opportunity to gain sea miles and experience on larger vessels. The candidates would need to be available to sail from San Francisco to New York as a minimum and if possible to remain with the vessels until they finish the 09/10 race in the UK in July.
